 The SRH550DJ has replaceable ear pads with high density, slow recovery foam for exceptional comfort. They are designed as an open-back, circumaural design for exceptionally natural sound, wide stereo image, and increased depth of field. The SRH550DJ comes with an additional pair of ear pads.
